Just Peachy!
With Ryan finally discharged from military duty, Tracy was able to concentrate on a wedding date and selected the beautiful Granite Bay Golf Club for their venue. The bridesmaids dress color had an iridescence to the apricot hue, but throughout the design concept, we flip-flopped as to whether the dress was peach, apricot, coral, pink, salmon… (well, you get the picture!) The ceremony backdrop was created with panels of organza fabric in peach and bronze and the little aisle buckets of flowers were painted bronze. We selected beautiful linens for the guest tables, with different exquisite linens for the focal tables, such as the head table (which was set up as a stunning Great Table) and also the cake table. And speaking of the cake, the baker created a unique design with layers of icing leaves, and to the florist’s amazement, the roses she was using were an exact match to the icing tint. Perfection! Tracy regularly made and mailed cookies to Ryan wherever he was stationed, but she couldn’t stop now… each guest received a ribbon-tied baggie containing two big yummy chocolate chip cookies.
