Searching for a unique venue to hold their August wedding, the historic Thunderbird Lodge on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, was chosen by our bride and groom. This summer home rests amongst giant boulders. A tunnel through the solid granite connects the main house to the boathouse, home to the famous Thunderbird yacht.

During the ten-hour event, four separate meal services were provided. The wedding ceremony was held on the estate lawn, under a hand painted huppa canopy.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds boarded a vintage boat for a quiet ride on gorgeous Lake Tahoe. The boat was then made available to the guests for short jaunts on the lake. Each table centerpiece was unique and different, using natural elements. rocks, berries, twigs, as well as vibrant floral colors.
